Seduce me
with her lips so sweet,
and my heart won’t beat
oh my heart won’t beat.
Her feet lead
me to hell where I’ll sleep,
and I’ll say death will be my home
my home.
If I stay close and
go to her door,
hear my words
on my last day:
“I hate you
and I’m here to stay.”
Listen to me
and the words I bring,
and forgive again
oh forgive again.
Release me
or bury me
deep.
Find me
or just let me
sleep.

Man, that has been on my mind a few days. Really deep. I keep thinking of the old sailor's lore about sirens of the sea, but conferring that image into people that have issues with drugs or booze, or worse, the ones that OD from it. That is haunting and makes one think for sure. Nice work!
