Man, that has been on my mind a few days. Really deep. I keep thinking of the old sailor's lore about sirens of the sea, but conferring that image into people that have issues with drugs or booze, or worse, the ones that OD from it. That is haunting and makes one think for sure. Nice work!
What a gift you have in poetry. Your words, thoughts and imagination that you are willing to share. They are easy to read and understand. It’s something that a person can maybe relate to or feel in themselves. It’s intriguing how you can put them into words that flows from your heart and your mind.
